About Lisa Vegas
Lisa Vegas has helped hundreds of aspiring stars Get Up and Dance! It all began at the young age of four, when she became a ballerina. Now, Lisa is a nationally recognized choreographer, competitor (pro and pro/am), instructor, Dance Vision examiner and NDCA adjudicator.
Lisa has established Cleveland, Ohio as a hot-bed of DanceSport activity by owning and operating several ballroom dance studios. She founded and organized, for 13 years, a nationally recognized NDCA sanctioned ballroom competition. Lisa also founded the Case Western Reserve University Ballroom Dance Society and Competitive Team.
Lisa’s professional dance career is immense. She has performed in many major productions, including the Champions of Ballroom Dance Show on Broadway. Her professional ballroom dance accolades include: United States 9-Dance Champion, Rising Star Rhythm Finalist, World Professional Ohio Star Ball 9-Dance Champion, Rising Star Smooth, Rising Star Rhythm Finalist and International Ballroom competitor. Lisa currently travels throughout the country to compete with her pro-am students through which she has won three United States pro-am titles.
Lisa utilizes her expertise and experience to:
consult with studios through showcases and coaching sessions
train and certify instructors through the Dance Vision curriculum
judge professional and amateur competitions
Lisa is also a sought-after event choreographer, working with corporations such as the Cleveland Play House. She also helps organize non-profit fundraisers such as the Transplant House of Cleveland: A Second Dance at Life Gala.
Lisa Vegas resides and works in Cleveland, OH. She’s available to travel for studio coaching and Dance Vision examination throughout the United States and abroad.
